Can I purchase alcohol at The Sip Studio?
No, we are a BYO only venue - this includes but not limited to wine, beer and bottled alcohol
Will food be provided?
You are more than welcome to BYO your own nibbles. Our table space is limited so we suggest only bringing small items. Cutlery and glassware are provided; we also have a fridge and ice machine available for your beverages.
Are children allowed at the sessions?
Children under 18 are invited to attend the public sessions for 'Kids Only' and 'All Ages' sessions. However, if you book a private event minors can attend.
What's included in the cost of a session?
Everything you need is included in the cost of the session - the only thing you need to bring is your favourite beverage and nibbles!
If I come with a friend or group can we sit together?
Where possible, we will try to make sure you can sit with your friends. To help us organise this prior to the night, send us an email with the number of guests in your group and we can reserve the seats together at one table, or come a bit earlier so that we can make sure to rearrange the seating plan if needed.
What if I need to cancel?
Public Session Tickets
All tickets are non-refundable. If you contact us via email 48 hours prior to your session we will reschedule your session or issue a studio credit. Tickets cancelled after this time forfeit the full ticket fee and will not be rescheduled however, you're welcome to pass your ticket onto someone else.
Public Session Tickets groups of 4 or more
Please contact us 5 days prior to receive a full studio credit or reschedule request.
Private Event
Private events are secured with a non-refundable deposit. If you cancel your event you forfeit your deposit.
You may cancel your event up to 2 weeks prior free of charge (minus the deposit).
After this time (13-5days prior) a 50% fee equal to the minimum payment will be charged and the balance credited (if any) via studio credit.
Events cancelled within 5 days of the session will be charged the full amount equal to the minimum payment.
We do not open private events to the public if you can’t make the minimum numbers or guests cancel last minute, the person booking the event is responsible for the minimum payment.
What if Sip Studio Cancels a Public Session?
If for any reason The Sip Studio reschedules a session due to Government mandates, staff sickness or lack of attendees (we need a minimum of 4 people to run a session), you will be notified via SMS, email or phone call and offered the options to transfer your ticket to another session or a full studio credit.
Can I leave my artwork at the Studio?
Yes, you can leave you canvas with us to be picked up during one of our future classes, if you don't pick them up within 4 weeks they will be recycled.
Fluid art and Clay Mould work must be taken with you after the session; we give you trays help transport them home.
